Benson....not Slappy, even though he looks like him 😂! Benson and his crew were sooooooo creepy in this movie. There’s something about characters that are sinister and can’t speak. Anyone watch Buffy and remember the gentlemen????? I had nightmares for DAYZZZZ!!!!! Here are some fun facts about Benson:
The idea of a ventriloquist dummy character was inspired by the original concept of Woody, who was originally designed to be a dummy.
They resemble Slappy the Dummy from the Goosebumps franchise, specifically the movie version of the character.
The Bensons walk irregularly due to dummies requiring a human hand to keep them upright.
