Hair Resolutions

A somewhat silly video of me and my ambitions for hair in the new year. Anyone that knows me knows that I am AWFUL and always putting my hair back in a bun or a ponytail. Alas no more, my friends, I will truly be attempting to be better in every way at the anomaly known as hair. It intrigues me with it's mystery and often bamboozles me at it's trickery. Come laugh/cry with/at me on my journey ; ). Remember to watch it in HD!!!

One hair blog that I like is hdofblog.com She's a professional hair dresser and has done some really fun tutorials. Because of some tips on her blog I have embraced my curl and been able to wear my hair with it's natural texture without it being stiff or frizzy. Yeah for hair tips!! Good luck!

Love,
Doney

I was going to tell you to go to Hair Dresser on Fire too! I know her actually, she went to high school (and prom, jealous!) with my husband. I even guest blogged for her once. She is super hilarious and does really really good tutorials. She has a lot about adding volume, you'll have to look it up in her archives. Also, she says to always leave the little nozzle on your blow dryer because it reduces frizz, which as a thick haired frizzy person I appreciated!

One of my New Year Resolutions is to try at least two new hair up-do's a month!! This also includes adding hair accessories. REALLY, REALLY, Ambitious for me!! EEP

I really like LetsMakeItUp1 on YouTube. She has some fun up-dos and some super easy ones too. :) Oh, and thebeautydepartment.com - i think maybe you introduced me to this site in one of your previous posts. Anyway, its still a good one!

Here's to HAIR! *\o/* Cheers!

I really like Lauren Conrad's site - The Beauty Department. She has some super cute hair tutorials, one of which is French braiding. It was really easy to see what she was doing since she has blonde hair.

"Imagine what it would look like if I did it right!" LOL, I am laughing so hard right now at your silliness. My sis is a hair dresser and she does my hair which is mid-back length and a pain in the butt, so if you need some girly hair time she's your girl, and we are nearby! Yes, I just volunteered her. Hehe and I think this looks super beautiful and you did good, though I am with you on not knowing what to do with hair, good new years resolution! May have to add that one to my list too.

WOW! Jen your hair is soooo beautiful! I've never noticed before (that may sound bad but I don't mean in a bad way at all!)
I'm so excited for this resolution of yours because you are so blessed with such a fantastic head of hair!
I hope I learn things along the way with you :)

WOW, I'm so impressed! Havn't seen with with LONG hair! Looks great! Wish I lived closer, I'd come over and teach you french braiding. Once you get that down, try Dutch or inverted French. That's my fav! Looking forward to the next tutorial... Miss ya Jenilou!

Your hair is so long!! You look so glamorous! Obviously it's been far too long since we've seen each other! All my best hair days on the mission were because of Hawkins. I think it's funny that you and I are both makeup girls who have no idea about hair, I need help MAJOR!!
