Are You All Down For a Little Test?????

Okay, it is official. After hearing all of your reviews and doing some looking on the net I am OFFICIALLY going to go out and get the Voluminous mascara. I saw a review on YouTube where a girl used a really expensive brand on one eye and then the Voluminous on the other. At the end of the day (and even through out) she kept us updated on how well the two held up. Did they flake, did they weight the lashes down. From what I could see the Voluminous was BETTER!!!! She said that they were the exact same but the one side seemed to fan out more and I am for SURE a fan of that!!! Go out if you haven't already and you can do this test with me. We will start on the 22nd of December and see what we think after a week. I want to hear comments from ALL of you. If you use it now, then tell us why you are hooked and don't want to change. If not, then tell us what you are seeing good and bad from this mascara. I'm excited!!!!! Go out and get your mascara on!!!!!!

I really like your blog I recently was telling my husband that I wanted to learn some different techniques for applying makeup and then the very next day I found your blog. I think that it is great. I was wondering if you could do a tutorial or even give some tips on how you apply eyeliner. I just never know how far to go in from the outside of the eye and how to do it on top. When I do the eyeliner on top I always think that it is looking good and that I am really close to my eyelashes but then I open my eye fully, it is not even close to my eyelashes. So if this comment makes any sense then that would be great to get somet tips on. Thanks!

Welcome everyone!!! So Becky....you hold off sister till Monday eh? LOL I LoVe that you already got it!!!! I'm getting mine today. SO ready for a new mascara. Did you find the review on YouTube?

Kay, I will make a tutorial on that for you!!!! GOOD question too and it made sense =). One tip is to not close your eyes all the way and do short strokes rather than one long line. I'll get on that for you.

I did find the review.. it's crazy how similar it was to the $$$ one! Good for us. lol

Oh, like Kay, I wonder about applying eyeliner too. Some people look super good with it on both the top and the bottom of the eye and some people, like myself, just look scary! I've been told to just go half way across the eye and not all the way. Have you ever heard that?

I have heard that and for some looks yes it works...however, sometimes it just looks incomplete if not done well. It can look like it comes out of nowhere and just abruptly ends. When using liquid I personally don't stop halfway but you can get away with it better with kohl pencils with a bit of smudging. Thanks for bringing that up!!! I'll totally go over that =).

Randomly, this is the mascara that I bought at the store the other day. Hooray for me, I guess. I really like it. I got the gold bottle, which is still Voluminous (or whatever its called) but clump free. It is awesome. Just hard to get off. I guess I should invest in some eye makeup remover :)

Hey there, Jancisco! Have no fear! I can help you out with getting mascara off! I use waterproof mascara, and I use plain ol' MINERAL OIL to get it off! Yes ma'am! It's the EXACT same ingredient that is in Maybelline "Expert Eyes" Waterproof Macara Remover, and you get 16 oz. instead of 2.3 oz! I'm thinkin' that the make-up companies probably paid-off the makers of mineral oil so that they don't include the words "Removes Waterproof Mascara"! Instead, the mineral oil bottle says, "Laxative" and "Lubricant"! But that didn't fool me! I know it's REALLY waterproof mascara remover!!!! : ) I hope it works for you! : )
